Our 20 hour comprehensive Motorcycle Essentials course is for you if you have never been on a

This course provides you with all the Essential skills you need to be safe on the road. Motorcycle Essentials provides a safe yet fun environment while focusing on skill development on our training lot.

We start with the absolute basics and build to a full set of skills including: clutch control, shifting, slow speed maneuvers, braking and swerving for emergency situations as well as cornering skills. The majority of your time is spent on the bike.

Our course is 20 hours in length. We spend 90% of the time on the bikes and 10% is in the classroom. The classroom portion covers important discussions about traffic and defensive driving.

How old do I have to be to take this course?
You must be a minimum of 16 years of age to register in this course with a waiver signed by your parent or guardian.

No. We supply the bikes to train on. They are small, light and easy to handle!

Do you offer a road portion so I can gain some road experience?
No, but our curriculum includes a traffic simulation where students gain experience in a safe, controlled, training lot with Instructors to provide constant feedback. All students participate in this scenario together.

Is there gear available for me to use?
No, due to hygienic and safety reasons, students must supply their own gear

Is the road test included in my course?
No, all testing for the Class 6 license is administered by registry offices.

Can I rent a motorcycle from you to do my class 6 exam?
If you successfully complete our Motorcycle Essentials course we can offer you a rental bike for the exam. Please call the office for more details.

Do I need to have my class 6 Knowledge test done before the course?

No, it is only required before you go for your road exam. All testing is done through the registry offices.
