UTV Safety - Instructor Training

Instructor Course.

The UTV Student  Rider and Instructor courses are nationally recognized programs developed by the Canada Safety Council, for the benefit of both industrial and recreational UTV operators.

Completion of a UTV Student Rider course has become mandatory on many jobs sites for employees and sub-contracted personnel.

In addition to our scheduled courses, the ASC offers custom corporate training – we can bring our course to your facility.

All students must provide their own mechanically sound UTV and appropriate riding gear, regardless of whether the training is at our facility or yours.

**The Alberta Safety Council offers a three-day UTV Instructor’s Upgrade Course for CSC/ASC certified ATV  Instructors.  During the three days instructor candidates will learn how to teach students to operate a UTV in a safe and efficient manner. The instructor upgrade course is a mix of classroom and field teaching.

For candidates who are not certified as an ATV  instructor the ASC offers a five-day UTV Instructor Training course.

All participants are required to provide their own UTV (that can pass a pre-trip check) and all rding gear (weather proof)
