Safety and the Supervisor
Often, the responsibility falls on them to communicate health and safety information between management and frontline workers.
This course helps supervisors plan, organize, lead and control while providing safety
training, resources, support and adequate supervision.
The Basics and Benefits
This course aims to improve the supervisor’s regard for a safety culture – specifically in
the safe knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of everyone in an organization.

Through a combination of discussion, exercises and lecture, the courses focuses on the
role of supervisors in relation to legal requirements, occupational health and safety
programs, effective leadership and risk assessment.
